1–3 days
Gathering documents from a checklist
We need scans — MRI, CT or X-ray (for a hair transplant, photos of the growth and donor areas), discharge summaries, a list of medications and any chronic conditions. We send a checklist and help you understand what to photograph and how.
We translate your documents into Turkish for free — you don't need to find a translator.

3–5 days
A remote opinion from a Turan & Turan doctor and an estimate
A clinic surgeon reviews your materials and sends back an opinion: diagnosis, whether surgery is needed and which kind, how many days in hospital and recovery. The opinion comes with an itemized cost estimate.
The price is fixed before you fly out. It can only change if the scope of surgery changes for medical reasons, and only with your consent.

3–10 days
Arranging the trip
We agree on a surgery date, arrange a clinic invitation if needed, book flights and a hotel near the clinic, and plan transfers. Citizens of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia don't need a visa for the trip — we confirm the visa-free period in writing.
We send a packing list, instructions for preparing your home for your return, and a guide for anyone travelling with you.

The trip
Treatment and support on site
Airport pickup, transfer, examination, surgery, hospital stay. An interpreter is present at consultations, rounds, when signing documents and at discharge. The coordinator is available around the clock for everyday matters: pharmacy, food, connectivity.
With your consent, we send relatives who stayed home a daily update on your condition.

12 months
Returning home and follow-up
You leave with a discharge summary in Russian, your scans, the implant warranty passport and a week-by-week rehabilitation programme. We explain how to have stitches removed locally and what to watch for.
Online check-ups happen at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. If anything worries you, you message the coordinator and they connect you with your operating surgeon the same day.
A typical timeline
A joint replacement trip typically runs 11 days. A hair transplant trip is shorter: 3–4 days.
- Day 1 Arrival, airport pickup, transfer to Bursa, workup and surgeon consultation
- Day 2 Surgery, transfer to your room, evening doctor check
- Days 3–6 Hospital stay: pain management, dressing changes, first steps with a rehab therapist
- Days 7–10 Hotel near the clinic, physical therapy sessions, follow-up scans and check-up
- Day 11 Discharge summary in Russian, implant warranty passport, airport transfer
Visa & entry
Visa-free periods change from time to time — your coordinator confirms them in writing before you buy tickets.
Kazakhstan
No visa is needed for a treatment trip; visa-free stay is up to 30 consecutive days. You need a passport valid for at least 6 months. Direct flights: Almaty and Astana → Istanbul.
Uzbekistan
No visa required; visa-free stay is up to 30 days. Direct flights: Tashkent → Istanbul. The clinic issues an invitation letter if you need one for work or to confirm the purpose of your trip.
A calm city two hours from Istanbul
From Istanbul airport to Bursa is about 40 minutes by ferry across the Sea of Marmara plus the drive, or roughly 2 hours by car. We arrange the transfer — you'll be met with a name sign in the arrivals area.
Bursa is noticeably cheaper than Istanbul for accommodation and food, traffic is calmer, and the clinic, hotel and pharmacies are all close together — useful when walking far is hard after surgery.
